I could have totally used this when I did a lot of freelance work as a designer, or when I worked in an office and needed to take projects home. Emailing myself files or burning lots of CDs was a pain. 1GB is a pretty generous amount of storage.

Actually, as I’m writing this post, I’m realizing that even though I hardly use files anymore, my other desktop and laptop are no longer with us. :’( If this computer died I would be up a creek without a paddle and I would only have backups of my blog – no image files, business plan, photos, drafts, email archives, Nada.
